A walnut epoxy table is solid wood with the cracks filled with epoxy. It lasts for years if you treat it like a good wooden table, with a few extra rules for the epoxy.
Daily cleaning
Use a soft cloth, slightly damp. Dry the top right after. Do not leave water standing on it.
Heat
Put a trivet or a mat under hot pots, pans and cups. Strong heat can mark the epoxy and the wood.
Cleaners
Do not use scouring pads, strong solvents or bleach. They scratch or dull the surface. Mild soap and water is enough.
Sun and radiators
Keep the table out of long direct sun and away from radiators. Sun can change the colour of the wood and the epoxy. Wood also moves a little with dry air and damp air, which is normal.
Scratches
Fine scratches come with use. For deeper marks, write to us and tell us the finish of your table. We will tell you what to do.
