Buying reclaimed wood furniture from Turkey: what to ask first

Buying furniture from another country is easy if you ask the right questions first. These are the ones we would ask.

Is it in stock or made to order?

Some pieces are one-offs that are already in our showroom. Others are made to your size. Ask which one it is, because it changes what you can choose.

Ask for photos and a short video

Ask for pictures of the real piece, not a catalogue picture. Ask to see the underside and the legs too.

Size and wood

Get the length, width and height in writing, together with the type of wood and the shape of the base.

Packing and transport

Ask who packs the piece, who arranges the transport and who is responsible if it is damaged on the way. Write all of it down before you pay anything.

Visit if you can
